Nuwara Eliya, is Sri Lanka's mountainous heartland. Here lie the lush green tea plantations, mist shrouded peaks, verdant jungles and frothing waterfalls. Your trip includes a vist to a must see tea plantation and the sights of Kandy - Temple of the Tooth Relic, Kandy Bazaar & Lake and a Sri Lankan cultural show. Kandy comes alive during the Perehera Festivities in July/August each year. You also take in the elephants at the Pinnawela Orphanage

Day 01 ARRIVAL – Pinnawela – Kandy
Reception and welcome at the airport then proceed to the well known Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. After checking in to your accommodation in Kandy, visit this “last capital of the Sri Lankan Kings”. Kandy Lake, Town and Bazaar are some of the places you will visit along with the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Take in a Cultural Show in the evening.
Day 02 Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
Visit the Peradenia Botanical Gardens, built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala King, it is 147 acres with a variety of trees, plants and flowers. Proceed to Nuwara Eliya visiting a tea plantation and tea factory en route. Observe the tea making process and taste some of these Ceylon Teas. Check in at your hotel and you have the afternoon at leisure to take in the beautiful hill station or maybe a round of golf at one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia set in these beautiful hills.
Day 03 Nuwara Eliya – Kitugala – DEPARTURE
Proceed to Colombo via the town of Kitugala on the Kelani River, site for the filming of the classic movie “Bridge on the River Kwai”. You are then transferred to the airport in time for your onward flight or to Colombo for additional services.
