Trekking - Markha ValleyTrek Ladakh, Kashmir - 18 days/ 17 nights
Ladakh is now gaining popularity as a trekking destination. It is no wonder, as it is next to Nepal and part of the same Himalayan range. It is relatively more isolated and definitely more inaccessible than its neighbour. Deep gorges, alluvial fans, towering snow-capped mountains and great distances-the dramatic landscape seems to highlight the glory and power of nature demanding a realignment of human perspectives. Tibetian Buddhist monastries cling impossibly to the very edge while flat-topped mud brick houses shoulder the weight of the heavens.
The Markha Valley epitomises the best of this scenery. It has giant rock pinnacles, beetlingcliffs, narrow defiles, prayer-flagged passes and evidence of a much older civilisation, the history of which has been lost in antiquity. As you trek up the valley, there are ruins of many forts and castles, some built in the unlikeliest of places! It is a fairly long trek and may be considered vigorous. Crossing a pass of over 5182m to visit the base camp of the highest peak in the Zanskar range, Kang Yatse which is 6553m is not for the inexperienced.
Price includes Delhi-Lh-Delhi flights. Accommodation is 5 star in Delhi, best available in Leh and camping in tents for the duration of the trek. It also included trekking guide and all trek equipment.

Golfing Tour - 12 days/11 nights
India adopted many British customs during "The Raj" and so it was that India became the second country in the world where golf was played. In the dusty plains on central India, amidst the snowy peaks of the Himalaya, remote outposts of the Raj, tiny golf courses were laid out where the ahibs could tee off. In cities and towns, clubs celebrated the challenge of the game. The most famous of these as the Tollyganj in Calcutta, the headquaters of the East India company.
Even after India's Independence, golf remained an exclusive sport played by the small elite. It was only in the 1980's when world class courses, conceived and designed by legends of the game such as Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer, were laid that golf attracted a larger following.
The courses selected below are at par with the best worldwide and are a superb addition to your discovery of India. You play at the Willington Club & Presidency Club, Mumbai; the Tollyganj & Royal Calcutta Golf Clubs, Kolkata; Delhi Golf Club; Rambagh Golg Club, Jaipur; among others. Besides th golf your have half day sight seeing tours of each of the cities visited and Agra and that includes the magnificent Taj Mahal. Ready to tee off?
