Exotic Food!
"You introduced us to restaurants which were way beyond anything I thought possible (in India)!...providing us with a background to the food, its preparation, ingredients and origin was wonderful, and it was particularly good being able to speak with the chefs - that was a privilege and a real buzz to be able to discuss how a meal was created.....The culinary class was an absolute highlight!...a very special part of the tour. Apart from the cooking experience, it was lovely to spend time with the chefs (together at dinner). The thoughfulness and kindness of all those involved was overwhelming."

The hotels: I enjoyed them all. The heritage ones like the Oberoi Maidens in Delhi and the Raj Palace in Jaipur provided great ambience.
