The Taj & Beyond - India Tour Itinerary

Introduction:

The Taj & Beyond - 10 days/9 nights

As much as she is known for her culture and civilisation, India is also famous for the range of her natural habitats that continue to provide sanctuary to a wide variety of wildlife - plants, birds and animals.

The vast man-made wetlands that are a major feature of the Keoladeo Ghana National Park attract as many as 375 species of birds every year, many of them migrants from as far away as Siberia and Mongolia. The annual transformation of the park to a cacophonic nursery is an event eagerly awaited by birdwatchers across the globe.

In the shadow of the brooding silhouette of the Ranthambore Fort, lies tiger country and the powerful king of the jungle seems to know this. The lucky may also spot other carnivores such as the caracal, panther and leopard.

Combining these with the pinnacles of the ‘golden triangle' – Delhi, Agra, Jaipur – this itinerary strikes the perfect balance between the man-made and the natural.

Thank you for arranging a fantastic tour of Sri Lanka for us. You have always looked after our travel needs very well, but you clearly have a great knowledge and expertise when it comes to touring Sri Lanka and we definitely benefited from this. We were very well looked after by our driver Denver who was at the airport on our arrival and made sure we were looked after the whole time until our departure. He was a very safe and good driver and a wealth of information during the tour. The hotels we were booked into and the attractions we visited were all first class. We of course took many photos, but I attach one which is particularly good. It is of us having an elephant ride, just before the elephant squirted me with water. We would have no hesitation in recommending that our friends contact you to arrange their next holiday in Sri Lanka, and would love to get back there again as soon as we can. Regards
