Sensational Sri Lanka - Aug 14
AUD 300 off per couple for bookings paid by 31 March
Sri Lanka - a tropical island paradise - has been off the radar for the Aussie traveler due to 20 years of civil unrest.
Lonely Planet voted Sri Lanka as the top destination for 2013 in its Best in Travel publication.
Now that peace has reigned for the past 4 years the travellers are flocking black in droves.
A small country the size of Tasmania, Sri Lanka boasts a variety of experiences that are all easily accessable:
Beautiful beaches, tropical climate, ancient Buddhist culture, lush green hills, tea plantations, wildlife parks and exotic food.
This tour takes in the best of what the island has to offer. The timing of the tour allows us to take in the islands biggest festival - the Kandy Esala Perahera - with its pulsating colourful Elephant processions, the Elephant Gathering in Minneriya where up to 300 elephants congregate, Tea plantations and the historic sea port of Galle. Add to this the wonderful ancient Buddhist monuments, exquisite food, great shopping and wonderful hospitable people and we have a sensational tour.

THE BENELUX BONANZA
The journey I was about to undertake would not only in geographical terms span vast distances over land and sea......it was an odyssey which would cover a period of over four hundred years and one in which I would try to establish a "connection" with my ancestors.
Thank you for arranging a fantastic tour of Sri Lanka for us. You have always looked after our travel needs very well, but you clearly have a great knowledge and expertise when it comes to touring Sri Lanka and we definitely benefited from this. We were very well looked after by our driver Denver who was at the airport on our arrival and made sure we were looked after the whole time until our departure. He was a very safe and good driver and a wealth of information during the tour. The hotels we were booked into and the attractions we visited were all first class. We of course took many photos, but I attach one which is particularly good. It is of us having an elephant ride, just before the elephant squirted me with water. We would have no hesitation in recommending that our friends contact you to arrange their next holiday in Sri Lanka, and would love to get back there again as soon as we can.
